The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are at the centre of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The SDG’s recognise that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests. Research towards these 17 goals is critical for global transformation to happen.
We have recently released a SDG classification system and filter in Dimensions. Within the new system, >5M of the total 108.7M publications currently in Dimensions received one of the 17 SDG-classifications. A filter in the Dimensions web app was added for discovery and analyses of publications that address the goals, and similar facilitates will be added to Dimensions’ API for advanced analyses, dynamic reporting, and integration.
In our webinar, we will investigate how universities can get an overview of their own SDG-research and its authors, funders, publishers, collaborators and impact. We will also look at how publishers can find out about the presence of SDG-related research in their journals, and we will look at SDG-research at national level.
