In this webinar for HERSA members, Julie Merriman-Jones, Head of Research Integrity and Compliance at the University of Southampton, will explain where Dimensions Research Security and Kharon fit within the university’s wider due diligence workflow.
Julie will share how Southampton uses the two tools to answer different questions, how the information they provide is incorporated into institutional reviews and what is working well in practice. Her presentation will focus on the role of research intelligence within the overall process rather than the technical details of either platform.

The updated platform connects the identification of potential concerns with the work that follows, enabling teams to initiate reviews, apply institution-specific criteria, record evidence and maintain a defensible history of their decisions.
