A fast and reliable way to incorporate research integrity checks into your work, to protect your organization’s reputation and support responsible publishing.
Research integrity breaches undermine trust in scientific research and can damage a publisher’s reputation, which can have significant commercial implications. Reviewing researchers’ publication histories and networks to check for research integrity issues is time-consuming, and highly manual, meaning there’s always a risk you could miss something.
Dimensions Author Check transforms the process. In record time, you can thoroughly review the publishing history of a researcher and the people they have collaborated with, to spot any unusual activities such as retractions, expressions of concern, or atypical collaboration patterns.
Drawing from the most comprehensive research integrity dataset available, Dimensions Author Check offers unmatched transparency into publishing and collaboration histories, accessible through an intuitive and visual dashboard.
Dimensions Author Check makes it quick and easy to:
- Establish research integrity best practices: Strengthen your organization’s commitment to research integrity by forming best practices into your workflow that mitigate risks to brand reputation and editorial credibility.
- Speed up your author verification process: Get deeper into a researcher’s publishing history in a fraction of the time. You can search a list of names or DOIs, which saves time if you are interested in learning more about a larger group of authors, such as those publishing in a special issue.
- Minimize reputational risk: By identifying potential integrity issues before association, publishers will reduce the likelihood of reputational harm caused by research integrity violations.
- Increase transparency and foster trust: Take a data-driven approach to identifying atypical publication or research network histories, and have confidence in choosing to work with new collaborators.
